TIP 3: Movie Marathon

A movie marathon is the ultimate sign of fan devotion. You can profess your undying love, passion even, but until you sat through a Star Wars movie marathon can you truly wear that badge of honor proudly (Remind me to make available the Badge of Honor in our Starwarsmob store).

So, we’ve calculated the time you’ll take to finish the entire movie series (to date) and it’s a cool 17 hours 40 minutes!  (I didn’t include the animated series but you could include that in just to stretch the limits of the human body and brain).

You could do it over a weekend or if you are game for a challenge, finish it off over a weekday before heading to work. I assure you you will be quoting a 100 of these awesome phrases to your co-workers before the day is over!

Here’s a recommended sequence to savor and enjoy the entire Star Wars experience. Grab your popcorn and blankie and let the movies begin…

Well, if you have a Netflix account (Don’t we all do?), you can watch most of these movies except that you are limited by the availability in your country.

Here are some other series and specials shown on Netflix:

  • Empire of Dreams: The Story of the Star Wars Trilogy (2004) is available on Netflix in the Caribbean islands as well as British Overseas Territories, South America, and the Netherlands.
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) is available on Netflix in Canada, the USA, British Overseas Territories, South American and the Caribbean.
  • Science of Star Wars (2005 Series) is available on Netflix in the Caribbean islands as well as British Overseas Territories, South America, and the Netherlands.
  • Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed (2007) is available on Netflix in the Caribbean islands as well as British Overseas Territories, South America, and the Netherlands.
  • LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales (2015) is available on Netflix in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden.

That wraps up TIP 3: Movie marathon.

After you have recovered from the exhaustion (“No, I was invigorated actually.” Good for you), you can consider something less straining on your eyeballs such as TIP 4: Star Wars themed party. (Out soon)
